Hand-fabricated silver kelp cluster, supplely textured with undulating fronds, hangs on a paperclip chain with a prong-set English sea glass bubble. This statement-sized pendant has been crafted by hand, from careful sketches of each flowing frond to the individual hammer strikes that create the grooved texture. I love enveloping myself in seaweed when I dive the kelp forest and wanted to create a piece that brings that same essence back to shore. Rare English sea glass bubble in a soft seafoam color is set in a hand-fabricated prong setting that echoes the kelp’s nematocysts - and can be removed for a different look.
