My forays into the kelp forests off the California coast have inspired me to explore some different approaches to silver kelp jewelry… hence the Kelp Study ring series.

This Kelp+Stone ring arches its stipe and fronds over a lovely Carico Lake turquoise stone, hearkening back to the luminous blues and greens beneath the surface. Wavy stipe band and overlapping fronds give it a graceful flow for an overall statement of pure salty love.

Size 9.5. Due to the unique design of this band, the ring is not entirely round: the flat back of the stone bezel sits flush against the finger. Ring is measured on a flat-back ring mandrel and sits at precisely 9.5.
