This statement ring from the Kelp Nouveau collection features a pink mussel shell cabochon flanked by silver seashells and seaweed accents. Each seashell is comprised of two layers of sterling silver sheet and have been domed to create a three-dimensional effect. Sterling silver granules and stamped components accent the piece.

I create the seashells by first hand-drawing each element, then sawing them out individually. Shells are backed on silver and sawn out again, then arranged and soldered onto the backplate with the cabochon. No templates or automated machines are used to create these hand-fabricated, one of a kind rings.

Currently-available ring is size 6 3/4. Band has been stamped for texture and features additional stamped components beneath the faceplate. Interior bears my LTL maker’s mark.
