QUALITY

My handmade jewelry creations are made from high-quality .925 sterling and .999 fine silver, both of which are nickel-free. Some pieces may include jewelry-quality brass and copper; typically these metals are used on the front of the piece to limit contact with the skin.

I use only genuine sea glass, which has been created over many years of tumbling in salt water waves. Because of its rarity, prices may vary from piece to piece depending on color, size, and shape. Please understand that some pieces may not be exactly replicated, as each piece of sea glass is one of a kind.

CARE

Wear your Low Tide Landing jewelry with care. While I have tested my pieces and have found that they can more than withstand everyday use, normal wear and tear may take a toll over time. Avoid wearing jewelry in the water, and take care not to knock glass, stone, or surfite against a hard surface. Silver can tarnish with everyday use; periodically rub with a jewelry polish cloth to restore shine. Brass and copper will also tarnish over time with exposure to air and skin oils. Gently scrub with a sponge and dish soap, or use a polish cloth for smaller areas. For more detailed care tips, see my Care page.

MADE TO ORDER LISTINGS

Please thoroughly read the entire product description in the listing before purchase. Some listings are “Made to Order” which means that Low Tide Landing (that’s me, Jess) will create the piece upon purchase of the listing. Therefore, your item will not be the exact same item that appears in product photos. Each and every piece of jewelry is handmade, so there may be slight variations from the product photo. Also note that Made to Order pieces require 2-3 weeks for hand-fabrication, while finished pieces typically ship within 3-5 business days.

SHIPPING

In-stock items will usually ship within 2-4 business days. Please allow 2-6 weeks for custom orders to be created and shipped.

Shipping is through USPS and tracking numbers will be provided. If expedited shipping is needed please contact me; additional shipping costs will apply.

I am not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged in the mail. All orders will be given a USPS tracking number, and any shipping issues can be settled through USPS.

PLEASE BE AWARE that international orders may be subject to customs fees. Low Tide Landing is not responsible for covering any customs fees. If you aren’t sure if this applies to you, please inquire with YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing if customs fees will apply or how much they may be as this changes by location and nature of the order.

RETURNS

All sales are final. Please read product listings carefully and contact us with any unanswered questions prior to placing your order. Issues with an item that could have been resolved by a careful reading of the product description will not be refunded. Normal “wear-and-tear” issues will not be refunded. Buyer is responsible for providing correct ring size for custom or made to order pieces. No returns or refunds on custom orders.

If you find there is a problem with the actual manufacture of a piece, I will gladly work with you to fix the problem or replace the item.

FAQ’S

CAN I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER?

I love working with customers to create meaningful pieces of jewelry. Please refer to my Custom Orders page for more details. Many items are available as Made to Order and can be purchased in the shop without creating a custom request.

Payment is required before work on a piece begins, as is standard industry practice. Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for fabrication on custom orders.

IS YOUR JEWELRY NICKEL-FREE?

I work with sterling silver (0.925) which is nickel-free. O also use jewelry-quality brass and copper as accents, and typically use these metals where they will not come in direct contact with skin.

CAN YOUR RINGS BE RESIZED?

Generally, no. A closed band ring cannot be resized, but an open- or split-band ring can offer some adjustability. If you’re unsure if a specific ring can be resized, just ask!
